Area Lodging
For a family visit, several families enjoyed staying at the Circle S Farm, which has a small cottage for rent.
Also, one Saint Peter family, the Moormans family, now offers a unique short- or long-term rental,
Abingdon Cottage, which comfortably sleeps eight.
For standard hotel/motel fare, you could start by checking the
Hampton Inn
in Bristol, Tennessee, not far from where the Bristol Parish gathers for worship each Lord’s Day.
Are you a Couples Camper preferring something (marginally) closer to the Study Center?
Consider the Holiday Inn, the
La Quinta Inn, the
Motel 6, the
Microtel or the
Courtyard near Exit 7 or, perhaps, the
Comfort Inn
near Exit 5 in Bristol, Virginia. Locations in the I-81 exit 7 area are probably the most convenient
(relatively speaking) to Mendota.
Those with a taste for something more unique might find the Martha Washington Inn — in the heart Abingdon,
Virginia’s historic district — more to their liking.
The web sites of the Abingdon and
Bristol Chambers of Commerce
list other area hotels and motels as well as several bed and breakfast inns.
Here is a complete list of all of the hotels within the Bristol and Abingdon area.
